After 20 years of international work in Washington, D.C. and abroad, I moved to Asheville in 2000. I was so lucky to land a job with the university where I had the privilege of consulting with over 500 small and medium size businesses in 12 counties. I’ve logged over 15,000 hours over the last 20 years working on everything from business plans, financial projections, strategic planning, marketing, and ultimately coaching. I’ve had the privilege of watching my clients scale-up, win national awards, increase revenue, export products, and create jobs. After I left my job at the university, former clients began contacting me for consulting, so I decided to hang out my shingle and start my own business. I never planned on being an entrepreneur, but it is probably in my DNA. I come from a long line of small business owners, going back hundreds of years. Almost no one in my family has a job working for other people. As a long time practitioner of the Best Year Yet program, I decided to get certified and now use it to help my clients achieve amazing results. Besides working with entrepreneurs, my other passion is writing. I just finished a young adult historical novel and hope to get an agent soon.

What Our Clients Are Saying

"We not only have had a great start, but we have also been able to give back to donate to a few community events and causes, which is one of the ways we desire to impact our surrounding community. Thank You, WWBC & CSBDF, for helping to make our dream come true." Brandy Mills, T.B.M. Smallcakes
