Our Services

North Carolina has ranked third for the growth of women-owned businesses over the past two decades. In Western North Carolina, a hub of entrepreneurial spirit and activity, women-owned businesses are important economic and community drivers. The WWBC is committed to helping start-up and existing women-owned businesses through providing technical assistance they need to succeed and achieve their business dreams. The WWBC is essential in providing education and training to women entrepreneurs in four ways:
  • One-on-one assistance
  •  In-depth business coaching and counseling
  • Educational opportunities
  • Access to capital
By providing a full range of services, the WWBC meets the needs of women entrepreneurs facing challenges in accessing capital and resources to establish a successful business. From drafting a business plan to implementing and marketing your business, the WWBC helps women entrepreneurs to achieve their business dreams.

Educational Opportunities
In addition to one-on-one assistance and coaching, the WWBC provides a range of educational opportunities for entrepreneurs. Please check our calendar for upcoming events.

Annual Conference
This inspiring event brings together women entrepreneurs, business experts, nationally-renowned speakers, and artists for a full day of learning and networking.

Networking, Workshops, and Seminars
Our workshops offer entrepreneurs the opportunity to learn and engage with other business owners. Our training seminars provide education and discussion on topics such as marketing, managing cash flow, financial tools, procurement and contracting, and more.

Business Courses
For entrepreneurs seeking more in-depth training on specific topics, we offer courses that focus on specific topics, such as:
  • Quickbooks for the Small Business
  • Preparing for a Small Business Loan
  • Marketing 101

Small Business Loans
For entrepreneurs looking to start or expand their business, the WWBC staff can help you explore loan options with Carolina Small Business Development Fund to meet your needs.

What Our Clients Are Saying

"We not only have had a great start, but we have also been able to give back to donate to a few community events and causes, which is one of the ways we desire to impact our surrounding community. Thank You, WWBC & CSBDF, for helping to make our dream come true." Brandy Mills, T.B.M. Smallcakes
