Deep Dive Lab: Choosing Your Business Structure

The structure you choose for your business influences everything from day-to-day operations to taxes to how much of your personal assets are at risk. This workshop will review the four main business entity choices and help you choose the right one for your business today, and in the future. They are: sole proprietorship, partnership, limited liability company (LLC) and corporation (C or S). We will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of each for entrepreneurs, and cover topics such as simplicity, cost, liability protection and tax advantages.
